Displays a dot on every checkpoint that has not been taken

(Will only work if the plugin was running before you took the first checkpoint)

Features:

  • Dot size is smaller when further away
  • 2 color or single color dots
  • Support for linked checkpoints (and shows a number telling you the group)
  • Dot color customisation
  • Will only show the next finish in Royal; and also some support for flagrush
  • Option to also show in map/replay editor

Map options can be set while creating a map. Note they can also be toggled while playing a map from the plugins menu. Instructions for mappers in a text file inside the plugin, but they can be used to:

  • Show checkpoints in order using their order/linking group property
  • Hide the plugin on this map (useful for puzzle maps)
  • Replace dots with the good xdd emote (not the dead cat one)
  • Keep checkpoints visible even if they are taken

These can be set by map comment or start order; more info on a text document included in the plugin but comments are /uci order, /uci hide, /uci xdd or /uci always.
Note that people using the plugin can manually override these.

Known issues:

  • The location of ring finishes is offset from the actual trigger (for other checkpoints, the dot is at the respawn location)
  • If you take 2 checkpoints in one update, I can't detect both of them

  • Editor show is now separate from show when driving
  • Fixed taking multiple CPs at once using the ingame list (if 'access claimed CPs list' is enabled); credit to XertroV to finding the location in memory of this. (on new TM versions there is a warning first due to a small chance of this crashing)
  • Added an option to use gradient colors
  • Added an option to move the numbers of linked CPs above the dot
  • Added a checkpoint counter (since I'm already looking for when you take a checkpoint)
  • Many settings are now accessible from the plugins menu
  • You can change single map settings from the plugins menu (these are also able to be set by a mapper for their map, but note that they can be disabled here)

Added support for MP4:

  • Checkpoint detection is done using the car's position when a checkpoint is taken. This may sometimes have issues but its the best I could find
  • I don't own most environments so if there's a CP dot that isn't within the bounding box of the block its for, tell me and I can fix it.
  • In shootmania there is no detection for when you take a checkpoint since this may not be a thing depending on the gamemode.
  • Checkpoints on nadeo maps are tagged 'Goal' instead of 'Checkpoint' or 'Linked Checkpoint'. This is why they are red+green dots.

  • Fixed only showing one start (most noticeable in editor)
  • Fixed freeblocks not showing in editor (blame nando update)
  • Fixed not resetting taken CPs when returning to editor from driving
  • Fixed a crash when entering royal mode
  • Added more things to the plugins menu item, so you don't need to open settings
  • map comments can now have multiple options (as long as each one has a separate '/uci')
  • Map options are now shown in the plugins menu section, and can be toggled manually as well
