Checkpoint Times

Checkpoint Times shows your split time and speed at each checkpoint, in a configurable table plus a small HUD. It compares your current run against your personal best and, optionally, a ghost loaded from the leaderboard. It can also track how many resets you've had at each checkpoint for RPG and Trial hunting.

Requirements

Should be installed for plugin to work:

  • VehicleState
  • MLHook
  • MLFeed: Race Data

Features

  • Checkpoint table — time, speed and resets at every checkpoint for the Current, PB, and Target run.
  • Last-split HUD — a small overlay showing the last checkpoint's time and speed difference versus your PB. It keeps the last values after a restart for convenience.
  • Ghost comparison — load a ghost from the leaderboard and its checkpoint times show up as a "target" to compare against. Speed isn't shown for ghosts, since it isn't stored in ghost data.
  • Resets tracking — counts how many times you respawned between each pair of checkpoints, useful on RPG and trial maps. right click the table header to enable it.

Usage & Settings

  • The HUD sits at the bottom center of the screen and is always visible by default.
  • The table shows/hides with the game UI. This can be changed in settings.
  • Right-click the table headers, or use the Panel Columns settings tab, to show and hide columns.
  • To compare against a ghost, click the eye icon next to a time on the leaderboard. The most recently loaded ghost is used.

Save Data

Best-run data is saved per map as JSON in:

%USERPROFILE%\OpenplanetNext\PluginStorage\CheckpointTimes\

Known Issues

  • A few maps may not save or display correctly.
