Plugin terms of service
When you upload plugins to the site, you agree to these terms. It's very small and reasonable, the normal stuff you'd expect. If you're unsure about anything described below and have a question, or would like to ask for an exception to the rules, please send a message to any of the staff on Discord or send an email to miss@openplanet.dev.
Rules
- Do not upload copyrighted material which you don't have permission to use. This includes plugins not made by yourself for which the author has not given you permission for.
- Not Safe For Work (NSFW) content will not be approved.
- Plugins that bypass restrictions into paid game features will not be approved. Remember to use permission checks to check if a user of your plugin actually has permissions to use features of your plugin!
- Plugins that request full leaderboards (or similar information) will not be approved due to the large number of requests required. If you need this data, consider collecting and caching it on a separate server that the plugin then gets its data from.
- Plugins which are fully AI generated are not allowed on the website due to the sheer amount of problems that waste reviewers' time. Other AI usage must be disclosed during plugin review as well as publicly using the AI classification settings. Additionally, reviewers have the right to reject your plugin if it appears to be largely AI generated.
- Anything that relates to cryptocurrencies are not allowed on the website.
Usage
You give the Openplanet team permission to display your plugin on the Openplanet website and/or share a link to your plugin page on social media. We might feature your plugin in the Featured section as well.
We have the right to change your unique plugin identifier if absolutely needed. We'll do our best to contact you if something like this needs to happen, though.
We have the right to unpublish plugins if we deem them to be damaging to the game or community. This includes things like game instability as well.
