A live gap-to-PB timer that updates every frame, not just at checkpoints.

Other plugins only tell you how you compare to your PB when you cross a checkpoint. DeltaSplit shows it continuously: a timer at the top of the screen tells you, at every moment, how far ahead or behind your PB you are right now.

Features

• Live gap timer: shows -0.124 in green when you're ahead and +0.310 in red when you're behind, updating every frame.
• Gap bar: fills left (green) or right (red) from the centre as the gap grows, so you can read it at a glance.
• Automatic PB recording: no setup. Finish a map once with the plugin running, and it uses that run as the reference from then on. When you beat it, the new run replaces it.
• Finish gap: when you cross the line, the timer freezes on your exact gap to your PB.
• Handles checkpoint respawns: after a respawn the timer finds where you are on the PB route again, even where the track crosses itself.
• Handles shortcuts and going off-route: if you leave the PB route the timer greys out (--), and it picks up again when you rejoin, even further ahead.
• Multi-lap support: each lap stays matched to the right part of your PB, and a separate PB is kept for each lap count. A server that forces a different number of laps never overwrites your normal PB.

How it works

While you drive, DeltaSplit records your car's position along with your race time. When you finish a run faster than your saved one, it keeps that run as your PB path. On later runs it finds the point on your PB path closest to your car and compares your race time with the PB's time at that same point. That gives a true live gap, not one estimated between checkpoints.

Runs only become your PB if they were recorded from the start with no gaps. A run where the plugin was switched on halfway through, or toggled off and on, is never saved.

Settings

• Position, width, height and text size of the timer
• How large a gap fills the bar (default ±1.0s)
• Colours for ahead, behind, off-route and the bar background

Good to know

• Your own runs only: the reference is your own PB, recorded by the plugin. PBs you set before installing it aren't used until you finish the map again.
• Display only: DeltaSplit never touches your inputs or your car.
• No network use: everything stays on your PC in PluginStorage/DeltaSplit.
• Requires MLFeed: Race Data and VehicleState.
