All background downloads are categorized in 5 groups. Each group has its progress bar, with the group icon and color, showing the progress of the most recent download and the total percentage of the whole group being downloaded. On the right of a bar, you also see the amount of downloads for the group. Hover over a progress bar to get more detailed information for the current downloads in the group.

The plugin is highly customizable and also has an advanced view to show you more internal info (also with more things showing on hovering). There probably still is more useful information, however at that point I would recommend exploring in the Nod Explorer.
